Eyam Travel Guide

During the "black plague" of the 1600's the Village of Eyam in the Peak District of Derbyshire, England isolated itself for 16 month to avoid spreading the disease to other parts of England. Only 83 of the town's 350 residents survived. Today you can view the tombstones of the dead in the town's graveyard and you can read their names in a church register.
